Personalized books are our biggest segment, and showing the greatest growth. We are now producing over 300,000 personalized editions a year… and we’re still growing. We have licenses with some of the world’s top branded characters and content, including Disney, Penguin, Marvel, Ladybird, Harper Collins and more. We also reproduce newspaper content in book format for top titles such as Washington Post, LA Times, Seattle Times and Dallas Morning News.

Our personalized books fall into two main categories; Adult and Children, with various categories within these all tailored to a specific genre of gift or occasion
For our Adult range, our licenses and access to the world’s largest private archive of original newspapers allow us to create unique and amazing commemorative books containing newspaper content relevant to an event, a date or even a favorite football team or sport.
For Children, we have over 100 unique titles created by our in-house writers and illustrators, with new editions appearing most months, often tailored to a specific occasion or educational need. In addition, our licensed editions allow us to offer unique one-off personalized books with a big brand name or character. There is no other personalized book company with the same breath and range.
Location
All our books and gifts are made in our purpose built, state of the art factory in Scotland in the UK, where we keep a tight rein on quality. We dispatch orders within 1-2 days and ship overnight to our facility in Long Island NY where they are dispatched in the US Mail system or courier within 3 – 5 days of order.
Where We Come From
Signature Gifts are gift suppliers to the trade who specialize in personalized gifts. We were founded in 2003 by Kevin Spindler and Mike Herbert, who were determined to use the growing power of the internet to exploit the personalized gift market.
Things very much went according to plan and we quickly made a name for ourselves as a leading gift supplier in the design, manufacture and distribution of innovative personalized gifts. This in-house policy continues to ensure our products reach you in perfect condition, and is undoubtedly the key to our success.
A merger with Historic Newspapers in 2005 – an established company in both the UK and the US – resulted in continued growth. As such, we now work with all of the main UK newspaper titles, and in the US, The Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, Seattle Times and the LA Times, who license us to reproduce their newspapers.
The development of newspaper gifts led to a growing expertise in repro-graphics and print which led Signature into personalized books and our leading position today.
Today, we ship over 400,000 individual gifts (300,000 books) every year, from premises in both the US and UK. Moreover, our trade gifts sell through a number of leading mail order and online retailers, as well as smaller independent retailers throughout the country.
